About CORE
Excellence and quality are the method, not the slogan
CORE is an ISO certification body. We audit management systems against the standard, grade what we find, and issue certificates through a decision taken independently of the audit team. We do not build the systems we certify.
What CORE does
CORE audits management systems against twelve ISO standards across nine sectors, issues certificates of registration, and delivers auditor, awareness and foundation training. We do not design, document or implement the systems we certify, and we do not run internal audits for the organizations we certify.
ISO/IEC 17021-1 requires that separation, because an auditor cannot objectively assess work they produced. The same clause separates the decision from the audit: your auditor gathers the evidence and recommends, and a reviewer who was not on your audit team decides. The certificate that follows is valid three years, with surveillance audits at the end of Year 1 and Year 2 and recertification in Year 3.
Accreditation details are pending verification. Until the schedule is confirmed, this site describes CORE's certification process without claiming accredited status.
The star in our mark climbs a rising path. That is the whole philosophy: measured progress, visible trajectory, no shortcuts that collapse under audit.
Read the impartiality statementFindings, not opinions
Every nonconformity names the clause it fails and the evidence behind it. A major blocks the recommendation, a minor must be closed before the certificate issues, an opportunity for improvement affects nothing.
The constraint before the benefit
Audit duration comes from the accreditation body's mandatory formula, not from negotiation. We show you the inputs we used before we quote a number.
Impartiality by structure
We do not consult on the systems we certify. Audit teams are rotated across the cycle, and the certification decision is taken by someone who was not on the audit.
What the audit examines
One system, not a shelf of manuals
Policy, process and record are examined as one structure. Your auditor follows a single trail from what leadership committed to, through how the work is governed, to the records that show it happened.
