Find a consultant
Independent consultants, listed at arm's length
Organizations preparing for certification often want implementation help. CORE cannot provide it: a certification body may not consult on a system it certifies. So we keep a directory of independent consultants instead. Tell us your standard, sector and location, and we will point you at the part of it that fits.
How the directory is filtered
Three filters, applied to a list. Not a recommendation, and not a ranking.
Standard and scope
Filter by the standard you intend to certify to, and by the scope you expect to certify.
Sector background
Filter by industry, so the person reading your processes has read processes like them before.
Location and language
Filter by where a consultant can work on site, where they work remotely, and the languages they work in.
The directory itself is CMS-managed content and is being compiled. Until the listings publish, tell us what you need and we will send you the relevant entries directly. We do not name a preferred consultant, because there is not one.
The rules this directory runs under
A certification body that also implements would be describing an arrangement it could not hold accreditation for. These are the separations that keep the referral clean.
None of them are CORE staff
Every consultant in the directory is independent. They are not employed by CORE, not contracted by CORE, and they do not audit for CORE.
CORE cannot do this work itself
ISO/IEC 17021-1 prohibits a certification body from consulting on a management system it certifies. We do not design, document or implement systems, and we do not run our clients' internal audits.
No fee, no commission
CORE takes no payment of any kind for a referral, in either direction. A consultant does not pay to be listed and we receive nothing if you engage one.
No advantage in the decision
Engaging a listed consultant has no bearing on your audit or on the certification decision. Findings are graded on evidence, and the decision is taken by a reviewer who was not on your audit team.
You are free to use anyone, or no one
The directory is a convenience, not a route. Use a consultant who is not listed, use your own people, or use nobody. None of those choices changes how your system is audited.
The choice, and the contract, are yours
You engage a consultant directly. CORE is not a party to that arrangement, does not review their work before it reaches you, and does not warrant the outcome.
The full set of separations CORE works under, and how threats to impartiality are reviewed, is published on our impartiality page.
